From October 23–25,2026, the 12th South China Structural Biology Academic Conference (SCSBC 2026) will be grandly held at the Hunan Hotel in Changsha.
The conference featured discussions on key research areas, including protein structure and function elucidation, cutting-edge technologies in cryo-electron microscopy and X-ray crystallography, membrane protein target identification, rational protein design, and structure-guided drug development. Particular emphasis was placed on challenging membrane protein studies—such as GPCRs, ion channels, and transporters—with the aim of establishing a specialized platform for industry-academia-research collaboration.
